Donna's purpose is to joyfully support, facilitate, and cheer her own and others' transformation and
liberation. She has been informed by her experience of African American liberation struggle and womanist
and feminist liberation theologies. Her teachers include Dr. Lena Foggi, Malidoma Some and Sobonfu Some.
For twelve years she has convened and facilitated Loves Herself. Regardless. retreats for women
of African descent. Through her work as a trainer, consultant, thinker, writer, and program designer,
she works with a great diversity of people to discern how we can work better across difference in order
to attain social and spiritual justice. She has been with the Center since 1985.

Meck's purpose is to hold open gateways that allow individuals and groups to relate together across their differences of experience and perspective. She has been deeply shaped by the Dutch-Canadian immigrant community she was raised in, feminist/womanist theology and theory, lesbian/queer community, networks of white people working for racial justice, and the inclusive practices of WTC community. Together with WTC staff and partners, she works as a trainer, consultant, thinker, writer, and program designer. She has been with the Center since 1990.
